I just went to a place that made hydraulic lines and had them cut me some. The ends try to un-braid until you get a clamp on them. Go ahead and bring a glucose meter while you're installing since you're bound to jab one of those sharp little wires into a finger or three. Might as well test your blood sugar.. lol.

Yeah; back circa 1993 when I acquired my fine daily ride, PO had those type lines on the cooler. They sorta had a slight leak where attached to the cooler; and could see some fraying around attachments. I couldn't get the leak(s) plumb stopped, and eventually replaced the lines with standard hydraulic lines. Did get stuck a few times................

They've never leaked on me? They have a teflon/plastic-of-some-kind inner liner with that stainless braided outside. The inner liner fits pretty snug and don't think they'd leak without clamps, but regular everyday hose clamps on the ends has kept them sealed since day one.

To each his own.. I know some people that actually LIKE Bridgestone Battleaxe tires and riding without a windshield.. lol.
