You may even need to bump the jet sizes up. I don't run straight pipes but I have a Mack 4 into 2 on my SG and a Mack 4 into 1 on my SF. Last carb cleaning I bumped bot the pilots and mains 1 size up and find them much more responsive.
The more intake or exhaust flow you have, the leaner the engine will tend to run.
Jets are cheap enough though. Stock sizes are where to start.

jet action will have to wait a few days-- the service is slow from the jet company. Will be busy 'til the weekend, but will be on it asap.
