Please explain to me how this can happen. I had a leaking fork seal on my MNS, figured the air was gone too. When i took the plug out, the fluid shot out about 8 feet. Don't quite understand how it can be.

Fluid Leak
Hindsight is 20/20. So make sure to relieve air pressure prior to disassembly/ plug removal next time.
When you put air pressure to the fork, the pressure is on the top (rod) side of the piston in the fork. Oil is on the opposite (bottom) side of the piston. If you remove the drain plug with air pressure in the fork - WOOPS! Here comes the oil. It physically has no choice to go anywhere but the least path of resistance (i.e. drain hole).
