It is as simple as it sounds Here is a pic of what I use to bleed my MNS linked brake system. You just hook up the hoses to the feed bottle until the system is nearly full. When the system is full enough you take it off the bottle and circulate the system until all the air bubbles are gone. I was amazed at how well it worked for me.

Definitely have to say that is some good Northern ingenuity.........

Ras, I'm trying to visualize this,
Basically when you go to 'recirculate' as the fluid gets 'sucked' out of the caliper bleed hole, the level in the MC drops and the pump replenishes the lowering level in the MC. Is that the way it works?

        WOW!
The pump has enough 'suction' to suck the fluid through?
Any splattering as the bubbles come out of the discharge hose?
I suppose not, if the flow is slow enough and the outlet hose is submerged.

This would be a great way to get all the air out as long as the bleeder threads don't leak by and no need to 'pump' the handle/lever.

Edit: Oh, and because you're reusing the recirculated fluid, the bleed process doesn't waste a bunch of fluid either.

How about putting a 'T' on the suction side and sucking from both front calipers at the same time while discharging back to the front MC?

Maybe even put a little filter on the system to trap any impurites that got missed during the drain/fill process?

I'm not familar with the linked system on the MNSs or the XJ, but this would definitely work great for the regular brakes.

May even work for a car too?!?

I rebuilt the rear brakes yesterday. I used a syringe and pushed the fluid from the caliper to the master cyl. Worked slick!

I have found that the easiest for me and usually there is no bleeding involved. Just push it up through backwards until the MC is full, close the bleeder and shazaam, brakes.

Yep, syringe or home made pressure tank, either way is good. Rasputin's is bloody ingenious though, that should be commercialized and he can become a bazillionaire

do I smell a spin off of Duck Dynasty coming here? I like his idea that he has. Mine was a pain to get going and I am still working on it to build pressure.

I have a set of speed bleeders on mine and they work great.I can also bleed them the old fashioned way with the wrench and the tube in the fluid like the book.
