well i finally finished my billet trees 6061 T6 aluminum. used the original neck shaft just cut the weld out of the old bottom and made an interference fit into the new bottom and plugged the bottom to make it solid. 1.5 inches thick and polished to death. built the warning lights into the top tripple, moved the ignition to the frame and fitted nice carlini chubby drag bars and harley hand controls. to top it off, a headwinds knock off headlight and mirrors with led signals to clean up the front. new clutch and throttle cables specially made to fit and some wiring changes to make it all work. who says you can't customize. have autocad and mastercam renderings for these tripples if anyone wants them but you have to find your own CNC machine or machinist.

i just finished fitting everything, took measurements for master brake hose. i'm using the russel preformed hoses and fittings to do this. slid all the wires through the bars, forgot the wires for the turn signals on the mirrors so i'll have to start over again (dang). new neck bearings, adjust the fork stops. i'm doing a complete motor job. standard pistons were good but new rings and hone plus the second gear fix is done, needed new hy vo chain. did a multi angle valve job so i'll have to adjust valve lash. painted my frame tonight so i'll have to wait a couple of days before i can make it a roller again. forward controls are in the works but won't be ready this season. next year all new tank and fenders, cut the back of the frame off, lower the seat rails and make my own fender struts. new 11 inch rear shocks with way more rake on them. my plan was to do it all this year thats why i stripped the frame but time and money cut my plans short this year, everybody is riding already and i'm still building .pics... i don't have a digital camera but you bet there will be pics, lots of them. hang on i'll get them

              Hi crawlspace,
I would love to have the autocad and mastercam renderings. i have a few friends that are machinists & they have a CNC machine. If you can email the renderings to bill_woods@earthlink.net
