    Frame Welding

I am going to take my frame to have the rear hoop welded on tomorrow and I just wanted to know what I need to remove when welding on the frame? Do I need to undo all the grounds or disconnect the TCI?

Is gas in the carbs/tank an issue, or is that up to the welder to decide?

I just want to make sure that I don't fry anything after spending all this time getting it running.

I would disconnect the TCI, yes. I would also try to place the ground lead as close to the welding location as possible.

TCI for sure, but also the battery...as to the carbs or anything else for that matter...make sure he is using welding blankets, sparks travel long way if you're gona MIG the frame...if he's TIG-ing it, no worries(as I would do it )
