    It's a problem finding decent stuff without paying big $$. Most of the 'house brand' items you see (whether they're from HF, Eastwood, Northern Tool, or Sears) comes out of the same Chinese factories, with only slight feature differences and/or quality control.

    HF is notorious for uneven quality. I've learned to avoid some things they sell, buy others knowing they have a limited life, and some have been great. I'll admit that their air tool 'accessories' aren't generally very good, but the particular regulators I linked to have worked fine (the second one... ). I've had poorer luck with their larger units. And if you're buying mail-order, the return process is a PITA. I have a local store, and they've been very good at taking back/replacing defective 'stuff' as long as I have the original packaging, so YMMV....
