    I like the faring but think the see needs more work to make it look like it's apart of the bike. Just looks plopped on there right now because of the rear frame rails under the back... just my opinion.

      i would definitely get a fork brace...
      1979 xs special, just finished the top end rebuild and then i still have lots of work.

        Good eye the seat is just "plopped" on there haven't cut the rear frame fails or made mounting brackets for it yet.

          I second the fork brace. It WILL make the bike handle MUCH better, as you have no fender to tie the tubes together. Even with a fender, a TKat brace makes a world of difference. If it was my bike, I would try to add too the seat to cover some of the frame, as I do not think you can drop it that much.
