    1) When you buy a new valve, is it already ground for the seat?
    2) Will a used intake valve suffice if someone has one and I lap it into the seat?

    Hi Courtney,
Others have already answered 1 &2 as for 3.
I have it on good authourity that the Evacuation of Hell alert system has been raised to 10.
10 = Still unlikely to happen go back to what you were doing.

        Hello folks,
Does anyone have a spare exhaust valve for a '79 standard? I'll send you some cash via paypal.

What diameter is a '79 exhaust valve? Same as an '80?

No it's smaller. Won't fit an 80. BTW, did you see my message to you? Don't know if you got it or not?

I'm at the "dream machines" show with Special Ed this weekend, but let me know if you need anything else. I have a "spare" '79 parts head I can pull from.

Very kind of you Ray, unfortunately the 79 valves are a different size from the 80 and up valves Hang on to your exhaust valves for yourself though, as they are impossible to find!
