OK, this is a cool tool, but I gotta tell you, the shim bucket is HARD! Make sure you are using Canadian or US drillbits, as chinese bits just smoke nicely and do nothing.
I was using a drillpress, but even that was a challenge, I dropped the speed to 1100rpm and was literally hanging off the end of the handle! I finally got a 3/16pilot hole through the bucket, but resorted to my 1/4" highspeed die grinder with a pointed carborundum stone! That did two things; made a great spark show, but also heated the bucket up enough to get rid of some of it's temper/hardness. After that I was able to drill it with a good 1/2" Canuck bit. Worth the effort though, it's gonna work great!!!
