  • new valve stem seals

Is there better stem seals than OEM, or should i just stay with Yamaha? I figure that there must be good quality seals out there, but maybe it is just wishful thinking.

If you get a complete engine overhaul gasket set, it should have seals included. That's all I've used, and had no problems so far. But then, most of the bikes I now have have NOT had any work done, and still have no problems with seals after 30+ years.

Are you talking valve stems on the wheel or valve seals in the engine?

          Install

I have found that carful instalation is the most important thing, dont damage them and center them and you should be fine. +, if your valve guilds are worn, have them repaired 1st, if the guilds are lose the seals will fail alot faster. Good luck with your bike
