Bikes built for service use didn't have chrome & decals of course and came in khaki from the factory.
You can see WW2 bikes at vintage rallies that were civilianized when they were sold to the public after WW2 and then re-militarized later.
They loose marks if the camo paint is too smooth and shiny.
OK, suggesting a black stencilled YAMAHA was sarcasm.
Authentic WW2 regimental markings are the usual thing.
Buddy's 1942 16H Norton is painted and marked the same as his grandpa's WW2 dispatch rider bike and carries the same accessories.
Except Buddy's bike's Sten gun had to be made permanently inoperable.
