I tore back into the carbs (4th or 5th time, lol). I'll be setting the floats to 23mm. Found 3 of my 4 brand new pilots aren't flowing right. The only one that flows clear is...number 2!
Before pulling the carbs I decided to try new fuel since it had been in there since last year. It ran a little better but I found a bunch of rust particles in the tank when I flipped it over to empty it.

So I'll be needing a tank, pilots cleaned, floats set right, some inline filters, and re-sync everything again.

I'll report back when all that is finished.

If the tank is rusty inside, I have had really good luck using Metal Rescue to treat the tank and get rid of the rust. Still need to get the inside as clean as you can first, but that stuff does a great job IMHO.

Sounds like that rust got to your carbs. So be sure to clean all the little circuits...again.
