Does anyone know what size O-ring is on the bolt for the cct? Mine is leaking after replacing it with one I thought was the correct size.

+1 on ditching the OEM tensioner and getting a auto tensioner!Nathan

For now I'm thinking about doing the 30 minute cam chain tensioner mod and see how that goes. Here is the link http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35497USMC 2005 - Present

I just re-adjusted the cam chain tension this weekend and the tensioner has started to leak. I also noticed that the PO had installed the tensioner upside down (the bolt comes out on the left side of the bike instead of the right).
Do you suppose the direction of installation makes much difference?
The PO had globed RTV all over the lock nut and bolt, is it just an O-ring that goes there to seal the CCT?
Thanks in advance.Guy
