There's some truth to this, but the other thing to remember is Yamaha's use of 'recycled' aluminum means the metal itself can have contamination in it. I've run into this problem enough when polishing Yamaha parts to know it's a fairly common thing. Not saying you'll have this problem in every case, but don't be surprised if you do...
