Which side for petcocks?

Here ya go mack. Pics don't come out too good with the lighting in the garage.

His paint looks like what I have on my 80G, "new ruby red" as Yamaha called it. It's not as common as the silver/grey on most 80G's.

As far as I know the PO repainted IIRC with Dodge colors.
I'll have to verify that to match the Pacifico fairing,hard bags and trunk.
I just hope, after 20 years he's still around

L/R Petcock identification! Yes!

Hey, haven't heard or read this yet, it will be helpful to share I think.

The lever side of the petcock has 4 holes, with one of them blocked off. The one that is blocked off has a tiny L or R inside it, facing right out at ya', but the tarnish and dullness makes it hard to see. I only stumbled on it as dumb luck, beause I though maybe there was a bit of gunk in there, but it was the marking.

Also, the face plate on the right side has the letter "R", of course, up in the top right corner, where as the left face plate is not marked for orientation.
