As far as I know the PO repainted IIRC with Dodge colors.
I'll have to verify that to match the Pacifico fairing, hard bags and trunk.
I just hope, after 20 years he's still around
Do you have a pic of yours ?
I'm not sure I've ever seen the "New Ruby Red".

Thanxs, but it'll look better once I polish and wax.
It's been hangin' off the rafters since '01 collectin' dust

    1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

      L/R Petcock identification! Yes!

Hey, haven't heard or read this yet, it will be helpful to share I think.

The lever side of the petcock has 4 holes, with one of them blocked off. The one that is blocked off has a tiny L or R inside it, facing right out at ya', but the tarnish and dullness makes it hard to see. I only stumbled on it as dumb luck, beause I though maybe there was a bit of gunk in there, but it was the marking.

      Carry on.

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

        Great Observation, Howard !!!
        I never noticed that, thanxs
Also, the face plate on the right side has the letter "R", of course, up in the top right corner, where as the left face plate is not marked for orientation.

        Here's some pics:

Hey, NICE pics of the L and R in the blanked off holes. The petcocks were back together before I had the bright idea to take some pics.

          You are a good wingman!

What a resource this site is! One cannot find that info even in the repair manual.

Too bad I start wrenchin' before I start readin'...
