They are still listed as available from Yamaha for about $2.35 ea, there are 2 different types though, tall 12mm hex (early motors) or short 14mm hex (late). IIRC, they have an uncommon thread pitch and are hard(er) to locate aftermarket. Here's a good OEM parts site...

You can also get either chrome or stainless steel head nuts from MikesXS, but these lack the integral washers of the OEM nuts. I know at least a few listers have used these and I haven't heard any negative feedback, but YMMV...Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
