$219 at my price from NAPA. Still too derned expensive. But down considerably from almost $500 a year ago.

I agree, its too rich for my blood, but some have more funds than I do and it can't really get much more plug and play than that. Plus the power savings would be huge!Nathan

LED last a very long time however they do fail sometimes. Does this headlight use a "bulb" or will one have to buy a complete unit

Would love it if it worked, but I don't know.
The problem I see is that you are taking a light that is very has vert directional light output (the LEDs) and trying to put them in a housing designed for an omni-directional light source. It could work, but I wouldn't pit too much hope in it.Nathan
