  • To fog or not?

I am getting ready to store for a NNY winter. Is fogging the engine worth the effort? Better running through some Seafoam? What are your thoughts. Thanks, Jon

If it's in your budget do both and throw in a oil change too. Lube your cables clean/check you connectors now and in the spring.

Runnin' through SeaFoam could be hazardous, but half a can and full tank of fuel riding a few miles first would work.

Just pull the plugs, pour a tablespoon of 10w30 in the holes and crank it over with the plugs out. Reinstall plugs and you are done as far as cylinder storage prep.

I'm draggin my '78 back into the living room this winter. Can fix and watch Netflix at the same time.

Im kinda neutral on fogging the motor... mose people use it on 2-strokes but there's no reason you can't use it on the bike. Just follow the directions if you decide to use it. It's not a bad idea if your going to store your bike outside. See other comments about winterizing here...
