    Voltages are correct, so I'm going with a drop-in 1157 LED replacement. Got everything zipped up and took a quick test ride. The bike runs and the tail/brake work, but we'll see if it lasts. It might have just been those cheap O'riellys bulbs. We'll see.

      I'm puttin my money on the cheap adzz O'frillys bulbs as the guilty party in this particular 'whodunnit'.
