I'll be darned, another little thing to know. Come to think of it, I may have had to cut off the mufflers on my midnight. Yup. That's why I welded the new mufflers on. I was corrected.
"The Hooligan" XJ1100, Virago Gauge Pods, Screaming Eagle Mufflers, K&N Filter, hand made rear fender, side covers, and solo seat, round bar conversion, small headlight, tail light, and cat eye turn signals, chip fuses, rewired the right way.

LiteFiter, the mufflers are SuperTrapp 1 x 4" Universal 17", 2.25" ID Brushed Stainless Steel.

Go here to the SuperTrapp website to search the size and type, then search Ebay and online auto shops to order a set. You will get a much better price that way.

Just measure the OD of your headers and match that up with the muffler ID. Then measure how far out you want the muffler to extend to determine the overall length.

So, for the demensions I purchased, the outside diameter of the muffler is 4", the length is 17" and the inside diameter at the clamp end is 2.25".

      Happy hunting
