I'm finally getting around to installing the Pacifico fairing on the 78E. PO had removed the fairing and luggage and now that the bike is running properly I'd like to have legal headlight and turn signals. Also need it ready for the SE Rally.
The mounting brackets that attach to the bikes frame are OK and are secure. However, I don't have any piece for the TOP side front mount. (see picture)
What is the correct piece that attaches "over" the top of this forward bracket that carries the weight of the fairing??
The upper support is a bit "sprung" to the left, maybe 1/4" or so but that will not be an issue after the fairing is in place and the upper and lower left side brackets are bolted together. I see a radiator clamp in this next pic but that can't be OEM or adequate to hold up a 35 lb fairing + road bumps and down force from the windscreen at 80mph into a headwind.
The pictures in the downloaded version of the Pacifico installation manual are too blacked out to view and I don't see a parts list. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff
