    Don't force it when the switch gets hard to turn. Spray in some silacone lube and if it's still stiff, take it apart, clean and lube it.

    I have enough junk switches to keep me in parts for as many years as I choose to ride XS11s but these parts aren't going to be around forever. Lube your switches and they'll last a long time.
