    JCruze isn't responding...

Anyone think (as I do) that those tires look like car tires? See top post on previous page.

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

Yah but you can still get vintage tires in a lot of styles.
      Here's one:

      http://www.cokertire.com/motorcycle/...er-application
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
      1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
      1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
      1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
      1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

Those don't look to have any sidewall to lean over onto? I can see they may be a vintage tire for a Ural sidecar rig, but not for anything meant to lean...

          Hi Schming,
Sure you can get those Coker vintage style tires but they ain't tubeless and they ain't cheap and they don't last.
What you can't get is normal tubeless car tires that are narrow enough to fit inside the XS11 swingarm.
Now that my last TwinTire has finally worn bald I'm stuck with running round-section bike tires on my sidecar rig.
130/90-16 Dunlop 404. Got it for Xmas. We'll see how it lasts.

You have one other option; the european bikes all used 'badgeless' tanks, so if you can get one out of europe it may be easier to get (but not cheaper....)

Hi Fred, I didn't realize those Cokers were all tube type, thanxs for pointing that out.

Did a quick search for your side car tire:

                  Hi Schming,
thanks for looking but every last one of the tires in that link say tube type
If I wanted to run tubed tires I'd have swapped to wire wheels, eh?

Did a slower search and couldn't find any tubeless side car tires unless switching to a car tire.

Most folks are using the Dunlop E3's

                      I applaud you, Fred.

That's a whole 'nuther world of motor cycling I entered as I researched, that I had to close the door on...but I left it unlocked

Yeah I saw one on eBay out of the UK. Dude wants about $250 USD. I bought my xs for $400 so I think I'll stick with the original tank for now.
