No problem, but that increases the price by $8...

As far as replacing, yes, you can do one at a time. You still want to use some anti-sieze on each one though...

So if I make up five sets and buy enough to do that, my out-of-pocket expense will be about $130. Divide that by five and you get $26 per set. Add $5 for shipping in the US, and you're looking at $31 per set. Much cheaper than the eBay guy, and way cheaper than buying them per piece; I just paid almost $12 for just the cam cover bolts locally...

Of course, I get to keep the 'leftovers' for free, but I should get something out of this....

Looking at the numbers, if there's quite a bit of demand I may be able to get the price down another few $, if some don't want the carbs that may move the price slightly too; the carbs account for about $5 of the total.

Howdy Steve, put me down for a set. I'm still on the road, so you will ahve to wait till I get home to get some money to you, since I am NOT going to back track to beautiful downtown Yelm this trp. I'm still drying out.
        Thanks, CZ

Ok, it looks like everybody that wants a kit has checked in. I'll send a PM to all that have responded with payment info and as soon as I have enough payments to cover the costs I'll order the bolts. This turned out to be a 'poor' month for me, so I don't have enough cash on hand to buy all this...

If any more members see this and want to order, contact me via PM ASAP as I'm not buying any more than what's needed to fill what orders I have at the time of ordering from McMaster-Carr...

I am not so lucky as Geezer as to have a good screw store nearby, plus I'm sure I'd screw up the screw purchase.

So Steve, I just sent you $32 for the complete set for my SG. Thanks for doing this. As I said to you in my pm, these bikes are great, but because of the stuff that you and other community members do, it's about more than just the bikes. Thanks again.

I've gotten payment from about half of those who want kits (THANKS!!), as soon as I get enough to cover the bolt order I'll get them on the way.

And PLEASE, note your 'list name' with payment so I don't have to track down who you are...

                              Another update!!

OK, one last possible change.... I've found a source for that long middle drive cover bolt (8mm x 160mm long) in stainless. All the other suppliers stop at 150mm... I figure I can include that bolt as well as the other three shorter 8mm bolts for an extra $7 (that long one isn't cheap unless you buy a mess of 'em). That still puts me under the eBay guy, for all the visible cover bolts. I'll send a PM to all who want a engine kit...

Ok, the bolt kits went out today (all that I received payment for). I had one cancellation, and still haven't gotten payment from two members. I'll wait a bit longer, but then I'll offer those to others. No takers here, it's off to eBay....

One thing; that 'long' middle drive bolt (for those that sprung for the middle drive set) doesn't have the same 'polish' as the rest. You'll need to 'dress' this for appearance, I'd try chucking it in a drill and using some 600 grit sandpaper maybe followed up with some steel wool. If you have a buffer, that will do it too.

I did include the clutch cover screws by the way.

No extras were included as I didn't have enough to include them in all the kits, sorry...

Make sure you use some anti-sieze when installing, if you want to use locktite put it under the bolt head, not on the threads. Torques specs are 6.4 ft-lbs for the 6mm, 15.6 for the 8 mm. Any questions, let me know!

                                THANKS!
