Would it be a safe assumption that the fluid in the shocks is the same as fork oil? Pulled my leaky shock off the LH today and found that the o ring on the respirator shaft was the culprit. I can replace that o ring easy enoug, but I'm not sure what oil to use to replace the old stuff and how much to put in before replacing the shaft.

It probably uses 5W suspension/fork fluid. How much to use is anybody's guess,
