I took my first set of 79s apart to clean and unlike my 80/81s, I don't see a washer/o-ring for the air needle. Should they have been there?

I don't think they're 'special', but length may be an issue. The OEM ones are pretty short (about 3/16"), as long as you match that I'd go for it....Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
