I have to have new tires. There's a slick on the back of the XJ11 and it's not good, has to be changed. I've looked for the best prices I can find and it looks like the Motorcycle Superstore is the best price I'm going to get. There is a new Yama dealership in the area and they've been open for less than 2 months & looking to drum up business. They will give within a few bucks of MSS price on a tire. Seeing as I'd like them to succede, I'll pay the little extra & support them even though the tax will add to the difference. For the rear on the XJ11 a Dunlop 130/90/16 is $92 at the dealer & MSS is $87
OK, so the tires I have on my XJ650 are Dunlop D404 and they're pretty nice tires but I'd like to get the best I can get without paying for a name or a tire that wears too fast. Seeing as the dealer is giving me a good price break, what other tire should I talk to him about that...
Doesn't wear out rapidly
Good on gas mileage
Handles well in the rain
is affordable
and better than Dunlop D404?
Thanks
