I have a 99 ZRX and those carbs are perfect for the ZRX and might switch over to them on my SG.

I would hope the carbs from a 99 ZRX would be perfect for a ZRX, as you say...
Wonder how the Mikuni's would work on my ZRX?Howard

BTW, ZRX carbs have the same spacing as the XS11... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35462

81 GS1100 carbs
I have a set of 81 Suzy GS1100 carbs I've been messing with, trying to fit them on the XS11. The carbs are BS34SS type (ID# 49210) and have the same size inlets on the rear (54MM) and outlets on the front (42MM). The first issue I've run across is the spacing of the carbs on the rack. The XS spacing in MM is 36/42/36 and the GS spacing is 36/51/36.
GS carbs in stock form ↓↓↓
In order to correct this I moved carbs 1 and 2 over on the rack closer to carb 3 by removing the throttle linkage/sync adjuster, removing the 9MM spacer and redrilling and cutting the shaft. The 2 rack bars had to be redrilled also ↓↓↓
Now the carbs are spaced correctly and will slide right into the intake boots. ↓↓↓
The throttle linkage can be made to work with the XS cable pretty easily. The fuel enricher (choke) works but has no detents in the shaft to keep it out which can be addressed pretty easily. There is no ported vacuum nipple for the vacuum advance, may be able to drill a hole for that somewhere, we'll see. I have had these on my bike and rode with them breifly, but the stock jetting is way too lean. More to follow after a rejet...2H7 (79) owned since '89
