    More of my XJ

the PO gave me a spair motor and frame tires and bunch of other bit with this bike
I watched the bike sit outside all last winter so i thought i would see if i can buy the bike it has only 23000 k on it runs great no rust in the tank so the bike is i very good shape got it all for less than a grand . I want to keep the bike stock i think the only part i need is one of the chain locks .so have a look and let me know what you think

The chrome looks in good shape(unlike mine) , but being in Canada, you won't need the oil cooler, so you should send it to me. Congrats on a sweet find. I got compliments on my XJ at Home Depot today. He said it was the cleanest XJ he had seen in a long time. I responded that it was probably the [I]only[I] one he has seen in a long time. I spent some time today fabricating stainless steel heat shields for the mufflers. I burned myself and I don't want my wife to have the same experience when she starts riding with me.

Do you mean the factory provided chain lock? Those are tough to find, mostly because no one kep tthem as they were more of a feel good option. Meaning, the chain was so small I would bet someone could roll the bike hard and get the chain to snap. Not any real theft deterent.

I still have the chain on my LH. Never used it, but I know the lock works with my igntion key.

If you haven't done so already, get one of the YICS eliminators. It will help in keeping your engine tuned properly.

thinking about the YICS tool but first i want to run a few tanks of gas in the bike
and some fuel systen cleaner it runs good right now maybe a little slow to worm up
could be the 20w50 oil but after it worms up it runs great .I think maybe i should pickup a XS so i have something to compair it to and well the XJ is clean now so i need something to work on
