  • 79 xs standard

In the process of a carb rebuild some of the internals are damaged I am looking for a good site to order jets and tubes The tubes are damaged and the needle valves and seats are in bad shape Thanks Are the standard and special the same I have seen conflicting information. I would like to replace them all and do it right and get the right ones. I just can't seem to find a decent site
    Thanks

Just a note here but the Canadian version of Mikes does not show as XS freindly yet. It may come but the http://www.xs650direct.com site is not yet acknowledging the change. Maybe different owners as well but just so Canadian buyers are aware.

All 78-79 models use the same needle/seat. If you need emulsion tubes, good luck finding them new, they have been obsolete for some time.

I found some on a site somewhere the other day. I just need to poke around some of the stuff I have saved and find them again.

Yep, the emulsion tubes should be stamped X-2, and they should be paired with the 5GZ6 needles on the 78-79 carbs. The needles will be hard to find too.
