middle drive remover

    There is a cavity back in there, where the drain plug is, that collects gunk.
    Yeh, if you drive in smooth roads, it, the gunk, might stay in there. But take a chance, rinse it out. CZ

      thanks everyone its off and the new one is on now let me ask do we add oil stright to the middle drive or does it get oiled by the engine oil

        There is a plug in the top of the Middle Drive, just below the air cleaner on the left side of the bike. That is the fill for the Middle Drive. There is a diagram on here for how to make a depth gage like the factory one to get the level correct.

            80-90 gear oil or a 75-140 synthetic gear oil.
