What are these off of?

Ok, they do have the vacuum port on the #2 carb but it sticks straight up rather than coming out at an angle like XS carbs.

if thats the case greg, its not ported vaccuum and wont work
the same as the no: 2 port on our mikuni carbs for the vac adv,
it was used to operate a vaccuum petcock.

there was a thread on here a while ago, that some1 had posted
showing similar carbs that came off a suzuki but i couldnt
find it sorry.

That's one of the things I looked for Pete. It looks like the plate goes over the oraface in there just by the marks I can see. The plates are stuck right now so I can't close them and see for sure.

Does the GS have the vacuum port?

I believe it does.. I bought a 79 Special that had a set of these on it and I seem to recall the only difference was the spacing on the mounting rack.
