      i need to figure it out...i got one from you and one from another member...the shorter one worked for the special...its only like 1/2" shorter, but that little bit made all the difference in the world...
      79 XS11 special "Loki" - homemade 4-2 exhaust, pod filters, rebuilt forks with progressive springs, tkat fork brace, progressive shocks, rebuilt all brakes and MC's, rebuilt carbs with #142.5 main and #42.5 pilot, a custom front and chin fairing, and a handmade set of saddlebags....

        Could easily rout the slightly longer on different to take up that extra length

          ive got the shorter one in and clutch adjusted, it rides smooth as butter now...thank u everybody for your help...so now i have a longer clutch cable if anybody needs one...( im guessing its a standard cable, and the special is the slightly shorter cable?)....

            Glad you go tit working, that is the key issue no matter what the cable length. However, I would think if one is shorter than the other, the Standard would be the shorter, due to the difference in handle bars between the Standard and the Special.

                Yeah, I was cruising down Ocean Bullevard, when my Sting Ray started acting up, I took it to the Shell station, the guy said I had blown a seal. I told him to fix the car and leave my perosnal life out of this!!
