Fuel T's

HA Guys: Does anyone have a resorce for the inline fuel T's that are the same as what came on the xs. I've found larger plastic and brass 1/4" T's but the inside diamator is alot smaller. None of the bike or auto parts local have the right kind.

I found some at an auto scrap yard, they were used on the lines going to the poullition control system, sorry cant remember what type of car but i just kept opening hoods till i found what i needed lol HTH......MITCH

The 1/4 tees should work fine. I just eliminated the octopus on my bike, and replaced the lines with 1/4 inch urethane lines, and 1/4 inch 'Y' fittings. Before that, I only opened one petcock, and kept the other one in the off position, and never had a fuel starvation problem. I ran the new lines directly from each petcock to the carbs, with a connector line between the hoses, capped off the other port, and still only open one petcock, with no starvation problems at all. Most of my riding is done on freeways at speeds around 65-70. Sometimes cruising at 80, and still no problem. Unless you ride at a very, very high speed, you should have no problems at all.

The plastic (poly) fuel "t"s can be purchased here....

Don't know about the "t"s between carbs at the fuel inlets.

Try this address. They advertise Billet fuel tee's for gas or alcohol in the size you are looking for.

Tony: I was using a long needle nose plyers to reconnect fuel line and poked a hole in the top of the T. I guess they get soft after awhile. I did have an extra from another bike but I was robing Peter to pay Paul. The ones from auto parts are longer (which can be cut) and the ID is allot smaller. Duster

Are you replacing the T's that are directly connected to the carbs, or the ones that connect the fuel line? If you are looking for the ones that connect the three fuel lines, 1/4" T's will work. If you are looking for the ones that connect the fuel lines to the carbs, look at www.motorcyclecarbs.com
