    Does anyone have a schematic/diagram of the parts breakdown for the above title. My FSM only has it for the original E.

    The carbs are essentially identical; there's detail differences (floats, float valves, idle screws, etc) so while the parts may not look exactly the same, a given part is in the same place. The only thing I can think of that could trip you up is the idle screws. The '80-81 have those o-rings and washers that go on the end of the idle screw, otherwise everything else goes together the same.

      Look up the Tech Tip or thread titled Carb Cleaning 101. That set of pics and instructions is based on the 80-81 carbs.
