flasher
The stock flashers were silent, no buzz. If yours buzzes, the contact points inside are dirty/corroded. These units can be carefully pried apart, contacts cleaned, and should give much more service.put something smooooth betwen your legs, XS eleven

Well, not dead silent.... they will make a quiet 'clicking' noise when working right.
If your turns aren't working, don't assume it's the flasher; the stock unit is very heavy-duty (and a new replacement is big bux) and not particularly known for going bad. And it can be cleaned/repaired in most cases like rover said. It's much more likely you have dirty/broken connections in the turn wiring, switch, and/or light sockets. If the lamps have been replaced with common automotive lamps (rather than the higher-wattage motorcycle lamps), they may not work.Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
