Thanks Marty, but I'm trying to keep it stock and inexpensive.
My 'Green Monster' is not pretty, so making him look nice is not a priority.
Now, my SG is a 'restore', so that's why she's getting the new rubbers.
I just gotta get over this 'bent' valve issue right now, then on to the carbs.

            Thanks for the interest...

...motoman but I have shipped them out earlier today. On my '80G I'm using these:

they are from a mid eighties XVZ 1200 and seem to be plentiful on the 'bay at a fair price for now
I think the chrome brackets that the pegs pivot on are from a Special and/or an XJ11. I removed the pin/rivet and blended the two types and bought a new pin from a local hardware, cut it to length and redrilled for a cotter pin.

              Thanks Schming.
I do like the look of those for your bike.
The chrome outer edge is a nice touch.

                UR Welcome...

...I hope the pegs work well for You

And yes I agree, the XVZ pegs add just a little bling to that area of the bike.
I'll also use them for the passenger footrests as they are wider than stock. The passenger footrests will be mounted to the hardbag crash bars with custom, made to fit my wife, extensions so She may sit with her legs more forward to help support her while braking, translated to, less of her visor marks on the back of my helmet In the pic below you can see that I need to fab a bracket from where the original location of the stock pegs mount to the new position of the XVZ pegs, and then I'll still have to mock it up and have her sit on...uh...try it for fit so to speak I may have to move them up 'cause of her height being a little over 5 feet she always has trouble reaching the pegs, around the bags, on any of the bikes. Since this is going to be our touring bike I would like it to be as comfortable as possible.
