Does anyone have a picture of the airfilter for an 81 xs1100 standard? When I took off the box there was no filter, after cleaning the carbs I am ready to put it back together, but need to find out where I can buy a filter and know what they look like so I don't get the wrong one. thanks dennis

By application, yr, model, foam UNI filter has the one for ya'.......just go to any of your local scoot or accessory dealer.........less than $20.......comes with screened basket to install foam over........BTW, spray that foam with any of the filter foam sprays available first.K&N does one too, but too pricey and not any better. IMO is not needed, just a fact.

I like my uni filter, and I think it cleans the air better than a &N besides. Cleanable like one, but it does clean the air well and doesn't seem to restrict any more than the stock filter. Plus the filter material is really easy to get to replace it if needed.

This is as close to stock as I have seen and less then $20.00 before S/H. With the cleaning with cmpressed air, should last 30,000+ miles

No matter what filter you buy, even if it was $100, it'll be cheaper in the long run than opperating without any filter. Why owners think they can get away without an air filter escapes me. Just think of the rings, piston, and cylinder getting eaten up by the dirt that gets sucked in.
