Thanks for asking; I have been real busy with work and other things around my home that needed attending to. It just never quits and now it is raining here in Deep South Texas. I will be taking the exhausts off first and inspecting them. Then I will remove the Head and take a look. I read up on how to remove the head using the xs1100 maintenance manual. I am determined to get my xs1100 running again and I will keep posting updates. I will take some pictures and post them when I can. I restored my xs1100 with the help of this forum and it members and rode all year. Put 4000 miles on it. I rebuilt the carburetor 4 times and rebuilt the both switches on the handle bar. It had electrical shorts and was very corroded. I have had about every problem you can think of. I went to lot of auto parts stores searching for a suitable rubber gasket so I could repair my leaking carburetor and I also bypassed the octopus. The tech tips were a great resource. Wish me luck.
