1 and 3 actually have nothing in common at all other than being in the same engine. They are on different coils, and they are on separate pairs of the carb bank so they don't share spark or fuel supply.Cy

so your 1 & 3 are not firing? 1 works with 4 and 2 works with 3. make sure you have the right spark plug wires on the same correct cylinder. i had mine hooked up backwards once and the bike still ran(these are pretty much bulletproof) and ohm out the primary and secondary resistances.1980 xs1100sg
