Any suggestoins on were to find a brass washer for the main jet in the carbs, and also were to find the rubber piece that goes in the petcock or should i just buy the whole repair kit? thanks

As to the brass washer, I would be comfortable using an aluminum or SS washer of the same size and thickness.
As to the petcock piece, I would spring for the rebuild kit myself.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I've seen the washers and the petcock kits on eBay. The washers came in a set of 4 and sold for about $10 or so..........XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. Iridium plugs. XS750 final drive (sometimes). Micron fork brace. Progressive front springs. Geezer regulator/rectifier. Stainless 4 into 2 exhaust. Auto CCT (Venturer 1300) SOLD. New project now on the go. 1980 European model.

Thanks, I was just wondering. The petcocks were working fine but the gastank needed cleaning so I pulled the petcocks and when I did I knocked off the red vaccuum caps and they had some type of cellophane on them. Now I put the caps back on but since then the petcocks leak no matter if its in the on position, pri, res, or off. Any suggestions. Do I need to put something on the nipple before i put the vaccuum cap back on?Brian
