Good tip. Dry it with compressed air.

I rinsed mine out with denatured alcohol and it worked very well. Unlike ice/water, the alcohol doesn't leave any residue behind when it evaporates. Although I can see were swirling the ice cubes around could help dislodge stubborn particles, so perhaps a two step cleaning would do a very nice job.

The compressed air on the alcohol at the end would have it completely dry and ready to go in a couple of seconds or less.

I like a couple of shots of Bundy and some coke with my ice Steptoe. Wonder how that would work as a headlight cleaner...

Unless, of course, the compressor has been blowing oil, which coated the inside of the hose, waiting to be sprayed out with the air.

Yeah, but it was a spray gun, so a little more trouble to clean it off. CZ

                air finish

I did finish off with the air, but left it off the vid, partly cause I figured everybody would think of it themselves, and because the battery went flat

can't say I've heard of anybody using bundy as a cleaner,,, bloody exie way of doing it
