I know people have posted some things about this before but I didn't understand a word of it (probably cause I'm new), but my turn signals aren't working. I've replace all (visible) fuses and the flasher and still nothing. They light up but do not blink. Help please!

What kind of flasher did you put in? If you put a normal automotive 3 prong flasher that won't work, you need either the OEM yamaha flasher and the correct 27 watt bulbs (which are not the same ones used in autos) or a 2 prong automotive flasher but you lose the auto cancel unless you do the auto cancel mod.
But there can be other issues, so the answer to the first question is key.Cy

Bike running or not?
If bike aint running you probably dont have enough voltage to trip the blinker...
If its running maybe not enough voltage to trip the blinker.

Do they start blinking if you rev it up past 3k RPM? Or when riding versus just sitting?
Due to corrosion of connectors or sometimes the voltage regulator, it is not uncommon for the blinkers not to blink at idle but work at higher revs.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

The voltage regulator puts out more voltage at over 3k RPM, so often that will be enough to make the flasher start working. Now this is wwith the stock flasher, not being one of these sparky types, it might be a different story with that new one.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Also, the two prong flasher can be inserted 2 different ways in the 3 prong plug. One way works, the other doesn't....Nathan

Got a volt/ohm meter? Start there by checking the voltages at the flasher and the lights themselves. Check the ground wires. Why did you change the flasher to begin with? Did they just stop working?
