The rear tire is ok, the front one however will NOT see any road use. As you can see in the pictures it is shot. It's too bad really, there is quite a bit of tread on it. These are Goodyear HST MM90-19 & the rear is the same in a 17.

Those look like they were made before they started putting date codes on. CZ
Wouldn't doubt it!

If the rear tire is the same brand and type, I think I would change it! ANY tire over five years old is suspect for me, and any over seven years I will NOT ride on. JMHO

That looks like a death wish. If you've ever had a front go down you would know EXACTLY what I mean.
I can't believe you even rode on that.

I didn't, it was like that when I bought the bike last year. I would never, EVER ride a bike with tires like that. I like a thrill now and then but that's a death wish. I can't believe the guy I bought it from rode it!
"What they do have is an implacable, unrelenting presence and movement that bespeaks massive power lurking behind paint and chrome. They don't wail like a screeching ninja, the don't rumble like a harley. They just growl like a spactic, stressed out badger waiting to rip your face off and eat your soul." Trainzz~RIP~
