  • I'm thinking it's time to change

    The rear tire is ok, the front one however will NOT see any road use. As you can see in the pictures it is shot. It's too bad really, there is quite a bit of tread on it. These are Goodyear HST MM90-19 & the rear is the same in a 17.

    What is the date code on those tires?

          Ho yeah...that ia a genuine "may pop at any time" tire.

            If the rear tire is the same brand and type, I think I would change it! ANY tire over five years old is suspect for me, and any over seven years I will NOT ride on. JMHO

              That looks like a death wish. If you've ever had a front go down you would know EXACTLY what I mean.

                I didn't, it was like that when I bought the bike last year. I would never, EVER ride a bike with tires like that. I like a thrill now and then but that's a death wish. I can't believe the guy I bought it from rode it!
