    The 550 ones you just need to file a little bit on the bottom hole (it really only goes in one way) and you need to file that little bit in towards the center of the tensioner to narrow the bolt spacing.

    I have a Vision 550 tensioner on mine works great!

      Here's a comparison between the V-max/Venture and Vision tensioners...

        83 Venture XVZ12 auto CCT

        I just installed a auto CCT from an 83 Venture, had to elongate both holes just a tiny bit to get it to fit and I already love it. I do notice that my cam chain is not slapping around and I don't have to adjust it once a week.
        Just ME and my 82 XJ 1100. Mac 4>1-2 1/2" open baffle shotgun, no octy, K&N pod filters, LED tail/brake light & directionals, 750 FD mod, Ear Cannon air horn, modified bars and dash.
