I posted about stumble I was having just off idle to about 3K rpm and the broken #3 carb body. I found a rack of carbs that were labled "1979 XJ1100", pretty sure that's not happening. Anyway they looked very good, mixture jets still capped, so I bought them. I was amazed when I opened them up, super clean inside. The pilot jets only have the center hole, not the 6 cross holes. They have the vents built into the mouth, no tubes. They have a cable operated enrichener (choke). No rubber plugs covering the pilot jets. I'm guessing '80 or newer, do you think they are XS or not?
I still have the slight stumble but it's much better. I think it's a touch lean until the needle comes on so I'm going to back the mixture jets out 1/2 turn more and try it.

The cable operated choke identifies those as XJ carbs, as they were the only model with that feature. So they're the late style carbs, and should be jetted to the year of them...

Cool. I "THINK" the mains were 117.5 but I didn't have my binoculars on. It was nice to find a set that hadn't been tampered with. I also found several sets of GS carbs that were the same size, something to consider for future needs.

Sunding like XJ carbs and mains were 112.5's all across. Having the bowls off them, spray some carb cleaner through all orfices , leaving jets, etc. in tact(if there 112.5's)......plug and play them........likely put a smile on........
