I am haveing a problem getting my 79 xs1100s ready for pa inspection. Everything is ready exept the turn signals, horn and break lights dont work. The head light works fine high and low and the parking light works. I have taken the switch apart and cleaned up everything, and checked the fuses.

The tail light is a separate fuse (I know it is on the 80-81 models anyway, I know the earlier models had one less fuse though). I would be certain you do not have a loose connection at the fuses. Also of course check bulbs first. Then look at grounding.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Typicaly there is a blue wire to a 10 amp fuse, that is the tail light fuse, the 20 amp with both brown wires is the signals. The other two 10 amp fuses are Headlight and Ignition.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

the fuse didnt look blown but i changed it anyway and not the lights work. now the relay isnt working. so after i replace that i should be running.79 xs1100 specialComment
