I'd like to solder in a new section of longer wire, but I'm having difficulty finding the correct replacement wire--it's very thin gauge, multi-strand, very flexible wire. Any idea where to find it (or what it's actually called)?

    Thanks.
You need the wires from multimeter probes. It's been mentioned on here before and someone over there posted where you can get them for a couple of dollars..... you got that casing polished up yet?

Alright, I'll look for test leads and multimeter wires (I've searched the site to no avail).

I haven't polished up the cover yet--although I might pick up the cleaner/soak materials today...I'm very excited, but I'm trying to focus on the essential/non-cosmetic repairs first...
